On February 2nd, with the rise of the dragon, the "hometown of dragon lanterns" project in Shiqiu Street, Lishui, began a giant dragon dance. On the morning of March 11th, Nanjing Weidun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Weidun New Energy) started construction on the production line project of 35 sets of ultra large dichloromethane gas recovery devices per year in Shiqiu Industrial Park.

Weidun New Energy was founded in January 2019 and has been committed to the design, manufacturing, and sales of low-temperature cascade refrigeration units, oil and gas recovery units, and other product units for a long time. With the rise of the domestic new energy industry and the rapid development of the lithium battery industry, the core team of the company has relied on years of accumulated VOCs project design experience to successfully develop dichloromethane gas recovery technology, and has successfully entered the field of lithium battery separator environmental protection technology, filling the technical gap in this sub field in China, and breaking the market monopoly of Japan and South Korea in designing and manufacturing dichloromethane gas recovery equipment in the domestic lithium battery separator industry for many years.

Project situation

The production line project of Weidun New Energy's annual production of 35 sets of dichloromethane gas recovery devices is located near Laoming Road in Shiqiu Industrial Park, with a total investment of 500 million yuan. It will be constructed in three phases and is expected to achieve an annual tax revenue of over 25 million yuan after completion, driving employment of over 200 people.

In the wet separator production line of lithium batteries, dichloromethane solvent will evaporate and produce a large amount of exhaust gas. Installing a dichloromethane gas recovery device can help enterprises achieve gas emission standards, and the recovered dichloromethane solvent can also bring high economic value.

Among the top five lithium battery separator manufacturers in the country, Weidun New Energy has reached cooperation with four enterprises.

"Benefiting from the sustained high growth of the domestic new energy industry, there is a huge demand for products in the future and broad prospects for promotion." Zheng Chonghui, Deputy General Manager of Weidun New Energy, introduced that the project aims to achieve the same year of construction, completion and filing, and production, laying a solid foundation for continuously expanding production capacity and developing new products.
